Space Diaries
A slow-tech cosmic companion by Ori
What is Space Diaries
Space Diaries is a poetic art device that quietly reflects the cosmos.
It’s a standalone e-ink device that generates and displays unique celestial images throughout the day, accompanied by a tiny space log — a poetic fragment, like a captain’s whisper into the void.
A blend of art, code, and silence. This is a personal, meditative object — not an app, not a notification machine — but inspiration.

A Universe on Your Shelf
Each image is generated algorithmically — no two are the same.

Designed to look and feel like a distant transmission, capturing planets, stars, moons, and mysterious space formations that appear and fade like thoughts. It’s not meant to inform, but to evoke.
Solar-Powered. Signal-Ready.
Space Diaries charges by sunlight, storing energy in its battery to transmit throughout the day.

It sleeps deeply, wakes briefly — just to share a cosmic moment.
A dial lets you set the signal frequency: from 1 to 10 transmissions per day.

Place it by a window.
Forget it’s there.
Let it whisper an inspiring distant transmission.

A Constellation of Seekers
Though each Space Diary sits quietly in its own corner of the world, every device is part of a shared constellation. From time to time, special transmissions may ripple through the stars — secret dates, synchronized visuals, poetic echoes only visible to those tuned in.

You’re not just a viewer — you’re a co-drifter, a fellow traveler across the quiet dimension of time and art.

There may be messages.
There may be codes.
There may be surprises that only you will notice… or maybe all of us, at once.
